I’ve always been drawn to ‘complicated things’. Some of my earliest memories are careful dissections of clocks, radios and anything else that looked complex or technical.
Growing up, my favorite ‘toys’ were my Telescope, Microscope, Camera, Chemistry and Erector Sets.
With the help of a very special teacher, I overcame a severe ‘math handicap,’ opening up new and exciting opportunities to interact more intimately with increasingly complicated stuff.
My favorite subjects soon divided between math, science and art. The opportunity for more ‘advanced’ art study wasn’t part of the school curriculum, but I elected to take every art, drafting, math, science and ‘shop’ class available.
I hope that these albums will reflect, my somewhat obsessive fascination with complicated things.
